I've seen mentions of a program called nod 32 on here and have even tried it out. I really liked it because it was so in-depth but couldn't work out how to get around the settings. does anyone know if there are any JAWS scripts around for this?
also, I'm using spyware blaster, spybot search and destroy and AdAware SE Personal, and I'm still having problems with spyware. Can anyone recommend any really good programs that watch in real time as well as do scans?

Well, If your willing to pay, webroot spy sweeter, does both! I can't tell you how much it is over there. It's like 30 dollars here! Hope this works.
I think that norton anty virus 2k6 does some kinda spyware, but i just use spybot.
Note that some spyware programs will find it hard to remove spyware if the spyware came before the anty spyware, so its best to put anty virus and anty spyware on your computer before anything else.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, spybot failed to recognise three critical objects the other day and I had to install adaware se ppersonal to get rid of it. O h and bearshare lite has spyware in it by the way. itried spysweeper but it was really inaccessible for me and i can't pay for anything lately. does anyone have any more suggestions? Thanks heaps for the ones i've already had.
I have norton for email and internet intervention, but also run spybot and addaware periodically. I've had no problems recently. I think the more spyware you have the better. I find that often spybot catches things addaware doesn't, and visa versa.

NOD32's settings are sort of odd to get to. First, you must make sure the esset graphical mode is turned off. Do this by launching the nod32 control panel. Once in the treeview, hit end to get to tools. Hit right arrow to expand that, and hit end again. This will get you to the system setup area. Now, hit control plus tab to get to the settings. Tab to the setup button. Press this button and the settings dialog will open. You should then be on the checkbox that says use esset custom graphical interface or something similar. Make sure this is unchecked. Shift plus tab to the ok button.
You should then be able to use control tab to switch back and forth between the treeview and the settings the treeview has selected.
I have Ad-Aware on my computer, but I have no idea how to use it. Can anyone help?
I heard from jaws users that spysweeper isn't accessible. I bought pest patrol and it works fine for me. I also use AVG free adition and so far so good.

Ezzy, Nod32 isn't going to remove all spywear as it's predominantly an antivirus program, but in my opinion the best. do what Blake said and you should be able to use it easily though with any speach program. but you're still going to need something like addaware, or microsoft defender if you're running a legal copy of windows.
